Having traveled a good bit now, I understand the importance of an infallible signage system such as the one seen in the Buro North Wayfinding project. It is so good, in fact, that it's won the AGDA Distinction Award.
Located at Falls Creek Ski Village in Australia, the Buro North Wayfinding signs take the shape of trees so as to complement their surroundings. Red accents allow it to be easily spotted by visitors. Able to withstand all sorts of weather conditions, the signs easily adapt to their environment.
