This Brazilian home in São Paulo takes advantage of the great outdoors with plenty of space for outdoor dining, recreation and relaxation. Designed by Flavio Castro, the Planalto House features a mostly enclosed second floor that's stacked atop a partially open first floor.
Despite having some parts of the home that are fully open and exposed to the elements, the open-air parts of the home are fully private and protected from the surrounding neighborhood. One of the best features of the home is the outdoor kitchen and dining area on the bottom floor, which allows the family to soak up good eats and good weather all year long. In areas that do need some closing off, spaces are partitioned with sliding glass doors to maintain a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor areas.
