Local firm John Wardle Architects created the Boneo Country House in Victoria, Australia, completely reimagining the original structure into a luxurious modern abode.
The existing home was transformed with new branches added onto the slope, turning the entire structure to face the views of the Bass Strait and Port Phillip Bay. The exterior was made with a copped skin to cover the entire surface area, creating a crisp line of definition. All of the main living areas in the home are paired with oversized windows to allow tons of natural light to flow seamlessly through the home.
With its curved walls and hand-made furniture, the Boneo Country House has a water-like aesthetic that makes it seem as though it is freely flowing.
