Tangerine now has the first banking app in Canada to allow users to identify themselves with their just own eyes or voice, signaling a new era of biometric banking.
The iOS app allows a Tangerine customer to authenticate themselves with technology that comes from EyeVerify and VocalPassword by Nuance. The feature is currently up-and-running on Apple devices and is expected to be coming soon to the Android version of the banking app.
