Ben & Jerry's Sunny Honey Home is Arriving for Refugee Week

The Ben & Jerry's Sunny Honey Home ice cream has been created by the brand for the UK market as a frozen treat arriving to coincide with Refugee Week. The ice cream was co-created with the help of eight entrepreneurs who have refugee backgrounds along with The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network (TERN) and the wider migrant entrepreneur community. The ice cream boasts flavors inspired by the cuisine of Afghanistan, Morocco and Syria, and features a lemon ice cream with home caramel swirls and lemon flavor cookies.
Co-Founder of TERN Fred Kastner commented on the Ben & Jerry's Sunny Honey Home ice cream saying, "Right now, more than 100 million people worldwide have been forcibly displaced from their homes — more than at any point in history. Refugees are often very entrepreneurial, and entrepreneurship can be a great springboard for them to rebuild their lives. What most excites us about Sunny Honey Home is the added value the team of creatives from our community brought to the project whilst ensuring that the product has a lasting impact.”
