Nordic beverage and wine company Anora Group has announced the launch of Carlow's, a new Irish whiskey brand that will specialize in "untraditional and modern Irish whiskey."
The brand's first product to hit liquor store shelves will be Carlow Cuttings, an extra-smooth and fruity "dram" that includes ingredients such as linden flower, yarrow, thyme, and rosemary. The unique botanical-infused whiskey is offered exclusively in a 700ml bottle and arrives at a 37.5% ABV. Carlow Cutting will be the first of three whiskeys that the brand plans to release in the Nordics.
“This is a unique launch, the first of its kind in the Nordics, and we are excited to present an Irish whiskey that doesn’t have to be in the context of tweed jackets and Chesterfield furniture,” said Mika Raukko, Category Manager at Anora.
