Those who fly First Class with Qantas now have the chance to get as comfortable as they choose by making their desired selection from a menu of airplane pillows. There are currently three options available: Sheridan’s Ultimate Comfort Pillow, the Memory Foam Pillow and the Feather & Down Pillow.
On top of this, First Class passengers are also able to get comfortable with a memory foam mattress, sheets, a duvet and a bolster cushion. Infants under two years of age who fly in first class are also given pure cotton blankets.
In order to improve the in-flight experience, airlines are now offering everything from onboard libraries and complimentary messaging services to menus that take advantage of the fact that one's sense of taste is heightened at a certain altitude.
