Qantas, the Australian airway, is helping fans "reignite the joy of flying" with its new Great Southern Land scenic flight. The flight will take place on the brand's leading B787 Dreamliner aircraft, a plane usually reserved for long-haul international flights that boasts the biggest windows on any passenger aircraft.
The seven-hour scenic flight gives travelers a stunning view of "Australian destinations across Queensland, the Northern Territory and New South Wales including the Great Barrier Reef, Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Byron Bay, and iconic Sydney Harbour." Passengers will be provided Qantas pajamas so they can travel in leisure and take in the sights.
“So many of our frequent fliers are used to being on a plane every other week and have been telling us they miss the experience of flying as much as the destinations themselves,” said Alan Joyce, the chief executive of Qantas Airlines.
The Great Southern Land scenic flight is available in all three classes including Business, Premium Economy, and Economy, with prices starting at $787 a ticket.
