The Adnams Double Ghost IPA has been added to the brewery's existing Ghost Ship range as a new expression perfect for consumers to try out this fall in anticipation of the Halloween season. The beer comes in with a 5.2% ABV and is double dry hopped with Citra, Centennial and Chinook hops, which will deliver citrus notes and the familiar spice profile of the original Ghost Ship IPA. The beer also features tropical fruit notes alongside intense hops notes and is expected to be right at home within the existing range that includes the Adnams Ghost Ship Pale Ale and the 0.5% ABV option.
Head Brewer Dan Gooderham spoke on the Adnams Double Ghost IPA saying, "We are extremely pleased with how it turned out. It has expressed a lot more mango than we expected and has both a pineapple and an orange note on the palate. You’ll find the characteristic spiciness from the rye on the finish and there’s good weight to the body and mouthfeel.”
