Troegs Independent Brewing has released a new double IPA that offers a broad flavor profile and manages to be a relatively high-ABV beer that can still be sipped in a carefree manner without being too overbearing.
Coming in at 9 percent ABV, the 'Nimble Giant' double IPA is dry-hopped with Simcoe and Mosaic hops, with hops of the Azacca variety elevating the brew. This combination and process results in a double IPA that is highly tropical with strong aromas of pineapple and mango. Meanwhile, the undeniable balance of the brew can be attributed to the foundation of Pilsner and Vienna malts.
“Nimble Giant is perfect for an evening by the fire pit or posted up on your favorite local pub’s barstool,” said John Trogner, brewmaster at Tröegs Independent Brewing.
