Mother Earth Brewing Company, a family-owned craft brewery that is renowned for both its limited-release and year-round ales, is introducing beer lovers to the latest member of its Hazy IPA series in the form of 'Hop Monster,' an unabashedly hoppy IPA that is high on bitterness.
This particular hoppy IPA makes use of a trio of hops of the Nelson, Citra and Rakau varieties, and comes in at a bold 60 IBUs (International Bitterness Units). The end result is a beer that is full-bodied and is heavy on hop aromas, making for a pleasing drinking experience.
The 'Hop Monster' beer is available in 16-ounce cans as well as on draft. Customers who purchase the cans will also be able to enjoy the label art created by Ecuadorian artist Gabo Zeta, who drew on themes of psychedelia, retro cartoons, horror and punk rock in the creation of the boldly saturated can covers.
