Adidas Five-Two 3 Plants Pack Unusually Incorporates Foliage Into Marketing

While most Adidas fans are used to the brand dabbling with low-brow, pop-surrealism art in their marketing, Adidas has gone in a different direction to advertise their Five-Two 3 Plants Pack.
This time Adidas used Makoto Azuma, a Japanes artist who incorporates plants and flowers into his work, for their campaign. The adidas Plants Exhibition was held by adidas originals at the adidas Plantshouse this past October 10 and 11.
Implications - In today's highly urbanized world, many consumers are encountering a sense of disconnection with nature and the environment. Businesses that are able to offer its clients products that restore those feelings of loss or disconnection will benefit in large ways. Accessible products that can generate similar experiences or feelings will appeal to a wide variety of individuals today.
