3D Google Ads can now be found online, which feature interactive 3D objects. This comes as a result of Swirl, which is the first display format for the mobile web that immerses users within ads. The 3D ads are available to advertisers through the Display & Video 360 program, where users can swipe to rotate, which will provide them with a small preview. When users tap the preview, it will expand the ad to the entire screen.
In order for brands to make models for the 3D Google ads, a new editing system was created for Google's Poly tool. The new system allows for greater control for the advertisers, this includes new settings animations in the ad, as well as backgrounds that can be customized for each ad.
