These Army Men are Prepared for Small Scale Battles

Toy soldiers are a classic item seen within movies, television shows and the homes of the young and old. The tiny plastic figures are a collector's item and although small, they fight until the end.
Toy soldiers are being used in order to create art installations and even dish-wear, but the tiny figures remain iconic. Some army men are created as parody toys with the green plastic object being manipulated to create a new figure. Toy soldiers that are riding skateboards or covered in meat are only examples of the creative lengths people go to in order to change the meaning behind the toy.
The figures do not always have to be plastic; there are now candy soldiers and metal soldiers, again manipulating the toy's form. Toy soldiers continue to be recognized and loved by many people to date, even though their forms are being remodeled.
