From Tiger Woods Commercials to Spoof Cartoons
Jonathon Brown — January 16, 2013 — Lifestyle
By now, we've all seen Nike's Tiger Woods commercials over the years. The most recent commercial features Tiger going head to head with Roy McIlroy in a best shot competition. For the first part of his legendary career, Tiger Woods references tended to lean toward mythical. He was presented as a super-human athlete and a sports icon who could do anything.
However, once his much-publicized sex scandal hit the news, the Tiger Woods commercials stopped and the Tiger woods parodies and spoofs began. He instantly went from a revered sports figure to the joke of the day. Since then, the world has seen Tiger Woods illustrations that show him sleeping while dreaming of half a dozen women. There's even an app developed for smartphones which uses Tiger's careless texting with his mistresses as the basis for its entire design.
