From Social STEM Robots to Digitized Smart Building Blocks
Kalin Ned — May 29, 2018 — Life-Stages
As the technological revolution progresses in the 21st century as an integral established component of society and the workforce, the entertainment industry seeks to engage and train children to interact with it through smart toy designs. While the transition from analog to digital is still upheld with skepticism, the movement definitely has some positive and valuable aspects.
For instance, smart toys introduce a fun and engaging way for children to learn. While the interactive STEM educational storybooks include a content responsive pen, Tinkamo's digitized building blocks offer a LEGO-style way of training kids to code. Although some smart toys prove to be more high tech than others, the products are able to promote practical experience alongside theoretical knowledge.
