Since the release of the original PlayStation, Sony has used the ground-breaking system to continue to develop many other PlayStation innovations and while you might think that after a few years the craze might die down, PlayStation (specifically the PS3) continues to go strong in the gaming world.
These PlayStation innovations have brought us new designs for the iconic system, possibilities for Cancer treatments and even amazing technological conversions (applying TiVo to the PS3). Until something bigger and better comes along, it looks like the PS3 will continue to sit atop the gaming pedestal.
