You haven't even got your hands around the XBox 360, and already something newer is out. Sony's PS3 is not only en route, but you can already pre-order the games on Gamestop.

Basically you can get in line first to get this games shipped to you when they are available. I am not sure if October 1st is best guess by Gamestop or if they already know the Sony PS3 launch date.
