From Wearable Aromatherapy Devices to IoT-Connected Gardens

The October 2020 tech trends spotlight new hardware, apps, and a vast selection of connected devices that aim to make daily life easier.
One inclusion is a concept called '0° Clean,' which is a convenient face mask sanitizer that prevents excess waste while ensuring users keep their face coverings clean and free of any harmful pathogens they may have come into contact with throughout the day. The mask cleaner uses ultraviolet light to get rid of germs on the surface of the material, as well as a built-in dryer that wicks away any moisture and offers an extra layer of defense against bacteria.
Taking inspiration after the LG VELVET 5G smartphone, the tech brand collaborated with a number of Canadian designers to come up with an apparel line that celebrates its design. George Sully, Hayley Elsaesser, and Beurd Clothing joined for the project, developing loungewear pieces that incorporate elements of the smartphone.
