This Big Theater Screen in Idaho Spans 62 Feet in Width Alone

The Carmike Cinemas Pine Ridge 11 location in Idaho is now home to huge new multi-million dollar BigD screen that redefines what it means to sit in front of a big theater screen.
The screen itself measures more than 62 feet in width and towers at more than three stories high. As a companion to the large-format theater, the screening space also includes 362 custom seats, 7.1 surround sound and digital projection equipment for creating an experience for 2D and 3D films that's comparable to IMAX.
As well as promising to make all other theater experiences pale in comparison, Pine Ridge 11's managing director Aaron Long describes that "The only thing that people have been saying as they come out of the theater is just, 'Wow.' They were just blown away."
