From Speedy QR Payment Apps to Mobile Phone Billfolds

These mobile payment devices make the process of purchasing on the go much easier. Having a bulky wallet doesn't seem like a problem, but many consumers are opting to swap their wallets, heavy with coins and unused gift cards for a much more convenient option. By using a purchasing app or mechanism that works with a tablet or smartphone, consumers are able to add "making purchases" to the long list of things smartphones are capable of.
Since people are able to carry around virtual wallets, paper bills and receipts are going by the wayside. Several businesses are switching over to the use of tablets for processing purchases instead of traditional cash registers. These touchscreen devices are highly intuitive, even for first-time users.
One particularly amazing app is the 'Danske Mobilbank,' which allows consumers to pay the balance on a bill simply by snapping a picture of it.
