Jennifer Aniston’s PSA for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is the latest example of ways to raise awareness about cancer and help raise money for cancer research.
In addition to volunteering for PSA ads, we have seen celebrities who posed nude, participated in mega-telethons, sold hand-made ribbons and auctions their own shoes for the cause.
However, it’s not only celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Christina Applegate, Amy Winehouse, Dame Judi Dench, and Daniel Radcliffe who are standing up to cancer. We have seen creative efforts such as Fashion Targets Breast Cancer at Work, cancer survivor branded wine, and pink golf gear.
Even the famous Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer) statue in Rio de Janeiro did its part and turned pink back in October to raise awareness about breast cancer.
