From Blood Curdling Cakes to Kidney Popsicles
Laura McQuarrie — October 21, 2013 — Special
You might encounter some scary leftovers lurking in the back of the fridge on occasion, but the only time you really want to see gross-out food is around Halloween. Despite being slimy, gooey and possibly green in appearance, the novel foods made around this time of year are ultimately still edible and most likely quite tasty if you can get over their unappealing appearances.
Even if you're not the best chef, putting together these dishes and desserts should come easy, especially since there is some leeway with brains, body parts and other creepy edibles that are meant to look like they are decaying.
As scary as they may be, anyone brave enough to take a bite of these gross-out foods will hopefully end up screaming more with delight than fright.
