The digitization of health care has been happening at an accelerated rate as of late, which is what we're seeing with modern fitness tracking that are coming in a variety of different shapes, sizes and forms.
Healthcare in the modern age has become something of an upstream approach; while healthcare providers are indeed working at full capacity, we're seeing individual consumers taking fitness and overall health into their hands. Fitness tracking devices and apps are helping to the alleviate the scientific jargon associated with keeping track of things like ones heart rate or BMI figure. What we can see here is a resonating shift away from traditional approaches like healthy eating or diets and a preference to find out via devices just how in or out of shape we actually are.
