Mourn the Epic Dallas Cowboys Loss with These Great Stadium Designs
Cody Turner — September 17, 2012 — Eco
The recent slaughter of the Dallas Cowboys in a game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday represents a great opportunity to take a look at some of the world’s most stunning stadiums that house these epic sporting events.
Stadiums are built to host a number of various events, ranging from concerts, sports games, Olympic tournaments, theatrical performances and much more. These giant super structures are intended to accommodate thousands and thousands of people, so they must be built to last.
Not only should these stadiums be strong, but they also need to attract attention with their sleek and architecturally awe-inspiring design. The past Olympics in Beijing could arguably have had some of the best stadium designs yet. I look forward to the upcoming innovations in stadium design as it seems architects are aiming to build more eco-friendly and efficient buildings.
