From Playful Doodle Furniture to Extended Museum Sculpture Gardens
Kalin Ned — September 3, 2019 — Art & Design
The August 2019 modern trends exemplify the manner in which designers perceive and challenge the boundaries of modernism in the landscape of the 21st century.
A lot of the available examples concern themselves with furniture design and architecture. Faina, for instance, gives a modern interpretation of Ukranian sensibilities through a collection of furniture that is made out of clay and flax. Not only is this functional and interesting, but the aesthetics also reveal modern elements that are reinterpreted from an Eastern European lens. Note Design Studio, on the other hand, reimagines the art deco movement in contemporary times with its 'Summit House' interior arrangement in Holborn, London. In Ho Chi Minh City, on the other hand, the August 2019 modern examples highlight the playful character of a colorful kindergarten facade by Kientruc O.
