From Inside-Out Body Campaigns to Honking National Anthems

These 2012 London Olympics Promotions highlight the spirit and overall positive vibe of the events.
Though some efforts are less directly related to the games, and instead focus on the impact of the Olympics, these campaigns keep viewers informed of the happenings of the upcoming events. Given that this year's games are to be held in London, much of the advertising around it has been either based in, or referencing the British city, which is iconic in and of itself.
One of the most interesting side campaigns to premiere this year was by the National Health Service to urge the British population to continue giving blood during the summer, as the amount received tends to drop dangerously low during a national event such as the upcoming games.
In terms of officially endorsed promotions, there's an increasing pattern in more artistic tech-savvy campaigns. A recent BBC commercial promoting its coverage of the games featured hauntingly beautiful Pixar-esque animation: a far cry from the typical biographical promotions that usually dominate the Olympic season.
