Durat is a leading brand when it comes to sustainable design materials since 1990 and it recently unveiled a look at the PORTA DEI COLORI installation as a part of this year's Milan Design Week. This was brought to fruition by Linda Bergroth to bring a blend of sustainable practices with progressive design. It highlights recycled materials that are given new purposes beyond practical applications but more of an artful value.
Differentiating from its countertop traditional materials including quartz or granite, Durat's sustainable approach features solid surfaces that are eco-friendly and functional. These are made from recycled post-industrial plastics that reduce eco footprints by minimizing waste to prevent natural resources from further depleting more so overtime.
