Berlin-based startup BettaFish is preparing to launch the Tu-Nah can as a new vegan canned tuna product. This new product was created in collaboration with food technologists and chefs and it is packed with protein and free from soy and wheat. This plant-based tuna alternative will support marine life, all the while offering a convenient way for consumers to prepare nourishing sandwiches, salads and more.
For World Ocean Day, BettaFish unveiled its latest sustainability data, showing how its vegan seafood alternatives have prevented 122 tons of tuna and 124 tons of bycatch from being consumed since its launch in 2021. And with the upcoming release of the brand's plant-based canned tuna alternative, its impact will continue.
