While Yeo Valley does make a range of Greek yogurt products that it describes as extra creamy, extra thick and extra luxurious, the brand is now introducing what it says is its thickest and creamiest yogurt creation to date. The new Super Thick Kerned Yogurt is naturally high in protein, as well as low in sugar and fat due to the straining process used to create the yogurt. The process starts with organic milk and live cultures, and in time, an ultra-fine sieve is used to separate out the whey. In doing so, the yogurt not only becomes thicker but protein is increased and some of the lactose is removed.
The Super Thick Kerned Yogurt gets its name from an old Somerset word that means "thickened."
