The Real Drinks Co Peony Blush is being added to the brand's flavor lineup to provide consumers in the UK with an alternative refreshment to traditional sparkling rosé wine.
The alcohol-free refreshment is crafted using white peony tea sourced from the Fujan province in China and boasts a pale pink color with creamy, buttery and strawberry tasting notes. The refreshment is said to have a vibrant, fruity aroma that evolves to reveal deeper complexity with smoothness to boot. Priced at £9 per bottle, the refreshment comes in 750ml bottles and will arrive online and at select retailers starting April 27, 2023.
Founder David Begg spoke on The Real Drinks Co Peony Blush saying, "While many alcohol-free wines and sparkling wines remove alcohol, The Real Drinks Co naturally ferment tea leaves to produce the same authenticity, provenance and complexity that are found in wine. We expect trade to stock more alcohol-free alternatives this summer and look forward to seeing the response."
