The Taipei 101 building was once the tallest building in the world. However, the Burj Dubai took over that position and left the poor Taipei 101 with a severe case of identity crisis.

To reassert their position, the owners of the Taipei 101 have joined with with SL+A International Asia Inc., Siemens and EcoTech International Inc. to complete eco-upgrades which will make the Taipei 101 the world's tallest green building.
