Simultaneously eerie and enchanting, the forests of Romania photographed by brothers Andrei and Sergiu Cosma of PhotoCosma is a collection of beautiful shots of a captivating environment.
While the pictures are intriguing to look at, one's impression of the photographed environment may change should they find themselves in the middle of the Romanian forest. A haunting overtone encompasses these images making it look as if this were the real Sleepy Hollow or the location of the Blair Witch Project.
The majority of the pictures are absent of any digital manipulation, with the exception of the oversized hands coming out of a hollow tree trunk (I at least hope that's an example of graphic manipulation). The majority of the photographs are in black and white and do a fantastic job of capturing the essence of a tranquil yet ominous surrouding.
