Tel Aviv architectural design firm Pitsou Kedem recently put together this elegantly modern home that features a chic square design. The house is constructed using a concrete base and features large windows and a open-concept layout.
While concrete can often be a cold design element to incorporate into homes. Pitsou Kedem did an elegant job of offsetting this feeling in the space with large floor to ceiling windows. The frameless windows are incorporate directly into the concrete walls alongside sliding doors throughout the space to create fluidity and openness despite the home's boxy shape. Despite there being so many windows in the design, the glass is made from an opaque material that allows light in but blocks out the gaze of onlookers for quiet privacy.
