Meatless Farm, the plant-based British brand, recently expanded its portfolio with the introduction of two new products: vegan sausage patties and sausage rolls. The two additions are part of a new ten product launch plan the vegan brand has planned for the year. To support this endeavor, the company also recently opened a factory in Calgary, Canada to help supply plant-based offerings around the globe.
Meatless Farm chief growth officer Michael Hunter explained: "We see breakfast and savoury pastry as two of the biggest opportunities and innovation is one of the core ways we can continue to grow the category." The brand also announced plans to explore lab-grown meat as its "an inevitable part of the transition away from animal protein."
