Vegetable-Based Pasta Substitutes

Mann Packing Makes Veggie Noodles with Kohlrabi and More

With the rise of plant-based, gluten-free eating, consumers have become interested in swapping out carbs for healthier, vegetable-rich meal bases—such as "zoodles," or zucchini noodles, and other kinds of veggie noodles.

Mann Packing Company launched its own line of Veggie Noodles with Butternut Squash "Rotini," Kohlrabi "Linguine" and Sweet Potato "Fettuccine." The products save consumers the hassle of cutting and spiralizing their own vegetables, so that the Veggie Noodles can be used as an easy, better-for-you substitute to regular pasta products.

Alongside the launch of its Veggie Noodles range, Mann Packing Company also released Cauliflower "Rice," a Broccoli & Sweet Potato "Rice" Blend, as well as a Cauliflower "Fried Rice" Blend made up of small pieces of carrots, sugar snap peas and kohlrabi.
