Copenhagen-based trash can designer Vipp has teamed up with Lever Couture to create some extremely well-dressed trash cans. Selling from $4,000 to $6,000, these 'Trashion' cans are decked out in the most luxurious designs available.
Designer Lessja Verlingieri took inspiration from female stars such as Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Gwyneth Paltrow to create these Trashion designs. The collection took up 1,400 feet of fabric and 400 working hours. After all that hard work it's clear that Verlingieri was successful in transforming the traditional Vipp Pedal Bin into something extraordinary.
These Lever Couture-created trash bins are a perfect example of how deeply luxury can permeate a lifestyle. While trash cans are perhaps not the first thought that comes to mind when thinking about high fashion, these Vipp-turned-couture bins are definitely runway ready.
