Danish company Vipp is entering its first -- and last -- foray into the lighting market. The company has been known for its high quality products and long history in metalworking. Vipp's CEO said that the lighting collection will feature five different designs and believes in the framework that if each piece is extremely functional and aesthetically pleasing, there is no reason to ever create a new collection.
The lamps are manufactured from die-cast powder-coated aluminum. Each of the five designs will feature the brand's signature dark charcoal color. Also, a dotted gradient detail will allow for more light flow from the source. Vipp's lamps are an aesthetic compromise between hard-edged industrial looks and softer, contemporary styles. The lamps are meant to seamlessly flow into home decor of the future.
