Headspace for Teens Focuses on Acceptance, Access and Action

Headspace Health partnered with Bring Change to Mind and Peer Health Exchange to introduce its newest social impact initiative, Headspace for Teens. This new platform is dedicated to helping to improve the mental health in youth—and Headspace is making it accessible to all teens in the United States, ages 13-18, who are affiliated with select national non-profits.

The platform is focused on a few key areas, namely acceptance, access and action, and it has the potential to support many young people who lack access to affordable healthcare.

This platform promises to be valuable, especially for members of Gen Z who report that the pandemic has only increased the stress and anxiety they feel. "Through our research, we see that teens today are under a great deal of stress and experience high levels of anxiety due to the demands of school, their jobs, extracurriculars, social life, and a general uncertainty about their futures," says Alice Nathoo, Head of Social Impact at Headspace.
