Headspace Pod was designed by a progressive industrial design studio to offer users a space to meditate without distractions. The pod was designed in partnership with the meditation app Headspace to create a peaceful zone dedicated to meditation practices.
The pod resembles a giant mailbox and boasts an arc-shaped structure with a plush cushion seat for maximum comfort. In addition, the pod features a cushion on the backrest to help users feel more relaxed as they go through their meditation regimens. Inside the pod, there aren't any screens or plug-in prompts to encourage users to leave distractions behind for the allocated time. Headspace Pods are designed for public areas like offices, universities, lobbies, and event spaces, where people might need to recharge their social batteries through mindful practices.
