Sugarfina recently released the results of its collaboration with George Clooney’s tequila brand, Casamigos, which now gives consumers the chance to treat themselves with tequila-infused grown-up sweets.
The four-piece collection includes three individual candy boxes, as well as a large, menu-shaped Candy Bento Box that includes all the assorted candies in Shake Your Margarita, Give It a Shot and Paloma, Por Favor. These candies play up flavors like sour grapefruit, lime, agave and chocolate, all of which have a "liquid center of real alcohol." As such, these grown-up sweets from Sugarfina require that consumers be of the legal drinking age to make a purchase.
To playfully present the tequila-infused treats in photos, the brands styled them as cocktail garnishes, which is an idea that could easily be borrowed by those who purchase these sophisticated, yet playful sweets.
