May is National Salad Month and Starbird is marking the occasion by unveiling several new salads, including the streetfood-inspired Elote Chop Salad.
This May, Starbird is kicking off what it calls the Summer of Salads, which will be available from all the brand's locations in San Francisco and Los Angeles. This menu includes a trio of new salads, starting with the Elote Chop Salad. Inspired by the popular Mexican street food, the new Elote Chop Salad features a blend of cispy chicken, romaine lettuce, cabbage, elote corn, red cabbage, cojita cheese, cilantro, pickled jalapeno, tajin spiced tortilla strips, and a spiced jalapeno lime dressing. Next on the menu is the Cali Mediterranean Salad, which features crispy chicken, a romaine and cabbage blend, pickled red onions, tomato, lemon tahini drizzle, fresh mint, feta cheese, za’atar seasoning, crispy pita chips, and a Calabrian chili vinaigrette. Finally, the new Miso Caesar Salad combines Starbird's signature crispy chicken with a romaine & cabbage blend, cucumber, watermelon radish, grated parmesan cheese, furikake, green onions, crispy rice noodles, and a miso caesar dressing.
