Popular livestreaming platform Twitch and language-learning platform Duolingo have teamed up to create the Duolingo Verified Streamer Program, which will see broadcasters using their channels to teach viewers new languages. As part of this program, streamers may choose to share Duolingo lessons in the form of practical cooking or travel scenarios and provide viewers with the chance to practice what they've learned in the chat.
All participating streamers will be shown on Duolingo's main Twitch channel, as well as language-specific sub-channels for English, French, Arabic, Chinese and Spanish languages. As part of the Duolingo Verified Streamer Program, people will be able to tune in to learn from gamers like Kitty and TaikiGG, and CJayride and Toastie202 who are focused on sharing educational content through real-world experiences.
