Duolingo Presents the New Museum of Wonky English
References: designtaxi
Duolingo invites visitors to explore its new Museum of Wonky English, which is a cheeky new display of signs that are seen throughout Japan. All of these are lost in translation and it is made by UltraSuperNew, which is the creative mind that fuels the exhibit.
It can be found in Harajuku, Tokyo, and currently shows up to 16 examples of how inaccurate translating Japanese to English can be, even in normal sentences. Some examples include a sign that rests on a table of food that warns those not to eat children or the elderly. Another example includes a coffee machine that reads "When coffee is all gone. It's over" or a shirt that reads "Crap your Hands."
