Looking at the front and back of this double-sided house designed by Kennerly Architecture & Planning just seems to be two different buildings from two very different eras. However, believe it or not, this is the same house. On the front side of the house, a Victorian-inspired facade was developed so that the house would blend in beautifully with the rest of the more formal-looking houses on the street. In a stark contrast to this, the back of the house that points towards the alleyway is crisp, clean and modern, which is something you'd expect to see today.
Despite the dichotomy of the house's exterior, its interior blends the two styles together perfectly, fusing classic architectural details with modern materials.
