The firms Dot Architecture and Soc-Arc have realized one of their latest designs in ‘C-House.’ The structure can be well-described as heavy-set, bold and gray. This would get the most pertinent points across; however, such a description would ignore subtle, but important elements of the design.
The building incorporates many contrasting angles into its block-like shape. For example, the roofs are tapered and steep and account for much of the structure. This is true for the interior, as well as the exterior.
Dot Architecture and Soc-Arc have designed the interior of C-House to be open and filled with high ceilings. There are few walls interrupting this layout. Interestingly, the gray-clad building also manages to fit well into the green Irish landscape where it is set.
