Belgian studio Muller van Severen created a series of dynamic daybed designs from wire netting as part of a commissioned project for one of the Solo Houses, which are a series of dream houses in Spain that are being developed by architects.
This set of sculptural furniture pieces is described as having forms that are "like a curled up mattress or a sheet of paper, waiting for someone to lie down."
The designs of these wireframe daybeds were specifically created for a circular house by Belgian studio Office Kersten Geers David Van Severen (KGDVS), which is set for completion later this year. While suited to this property, the airy forms of these furniture pieces will serve to play up the openness of any spaces they inhabit.
