General Mills recently debuted a new line of chilled treats called Oui Crème Dessert that takes inspiration from Crème Fraîche. The desserts are sold in sets of four that are packaged in single-serve glass pots, which are available in decadent varieties like Lemon Tart, Vanilla Bean and Caramel Cream.
In each 3.5-ounce pot, the naturally flavored chilled desserts inspired by cultured French cream contain 220 calories and are sweetened with cane sugar.
According to Doug Martin, president of General Mills’ US yogurt business, "We really leaned on Yoplait’s French heritage and embraced the way yogurt was made in the past as we set out to deliver a premium, crafted experience. Consumers were ready for something new, evidenced by the continued declines of Greek-style yogurt."
