At the fifth annual Wines & Vines Packaging Conference, Upshot was recognized as a gold medal winner for its creative wine label in the classic wine packaging category.
Upshot is a red blend and the award-winning design of the product packaging shares the details of the winemaking process over the course of a calendar year. The 360-degree calendar gives consumers a sense of when the grapes from the Alexander Valley and Knights Valley in Sonoma County were harvested, fermented, aged and bottled in a much more dynamic format than a block of text can offer.
At the conference, the panel of judges from the wine trade, media and retail sectors also noted Upshot by Rodney Strong Wine Estates as Best in Show.
