PplusP Designers completed the 'Deep in Nature' project, the interior design of an apartment in Macau, China.
The designers wanted to create an interior that promoted "peace, human nature and oneness with life." They set about doing this by using several tree-inspired design motifs throughout the home, which, beyond cultivating a harmonious natural environment, also encourage residents to take full advantage of all the space available to them.
The earthy, wooden designs offer a warm, homey feel to the apartment. For example, the abstract tree branches that appear to grow from the walls and ceilings of the home's living area, are offset with contemporary pendant lighting from Catellani & Smith, creating a cozy yet modern ambiance.
